About the Game

The Lesson Tee

"Grip the club as if it were a little Birdy!!! Firm enough that it won't fly away; Yet lightly enough as not to squash the birdy..."
- Words from the Old Scott's.

"A golf-swing must be dug from the ground."
- Words from the Great Ben Hogan.

"I believe you do it with your own clubs and not with someone else's."
- Words from Jack Nicklaus, The Golden Bear.

The Course

Always replace divots with sand or divot-mix and repair your ballmark and one more... Take care of the course and the course will take care of you..

Always consider the perils involved before attempting a risky shot... Ask yourself this question? "Am I prepared to live with the worst case scenario"?
If, "Yes", is the answer, then swing away with no mental reservation!

...Commit to the process of hitting good shots and always remain in the present...

Etiquette

Be mindful of your playing-partners at all times... Monitor your temperament and don't get ahead of yourself, emotionally...

If you feel that you cannot speak at normal conversation levels on the golf-course; then you really should not be speaking...

A player must be as gracious in defeat as he will ever be in victory...
